You never know what I might come across in my travels. Maybe it's a beautiful piece of vintage jewelry, an antique collectible, or maybe a repurposed funky find. If I love it, I know you will too!
I had left the corporate world to become a stay at home mom. Toddlerhood had kept me busy, but once the kids hit grade school I needed more. Going back to work full time was not an option for our family. A home based business seemed the perfect answer...something that I could do that would combine my love of antiques and also challenge my creative side. Jacobus Lane started as an antique business, and later morphed into the creative re-purposing business I run today. Jacobus Lane was my grandparents' address for nearly 40 years. A wonderful place of family picnics, big hugs, and lots of crafting and creating. There was lots of love down on Jacobus Lane, but not a lot of money. Creating what you needed from what you had was a way of life. This business honors the creative traditions of my grandparents, and all my family members who were lucky enough to live Down the Lane.
In addition to local retailers, Jacobus Lane designs can also be purchased online in my Etsy store.
